What inspired you to become a teacher?
I knew early on that I wanted to become a teacher. I truly love working with children and showing them that learning is fun, exciting, and all around them. As a teacher, I strive to create opportunities for my students to explore new ideas and challenge themselves. I want to help build confidence in themselves that will extend outside the classroom walls.

What do you find most rewarding about your job?
Being in the classrooms and working with the students and teachers is the most rewarding. I love co-teaching with other teachers because you get to share and learn from each other. Student success is celebrated together as a class.

How do you elevate the excellence in your classroom?
I elevate the excellence in our classrooms by showing students that they can achieve anything through hard work and determination. Building their confidence and celebrating their successes fosters both academic and personal growth. By showing up and giving my best effort for our students and co-teachers every day will have the greatest impact on excellence.
